I told them in all the ways, but they weren’t getting it. Not only did I tell them in person, but the information was going out to parents and students through inboxes, mailboxes, flyers, posters, websites, public address systems, presentations, and more.

The information that I was sharing could be life-changing -- scholarships, opportunities for students to train after high school, and family resources such as mental health counseling.

It was detailed and complete but holding a comfortable seat in the physical or electronic trash, either unopened or just simply forgotten. So much time and effort...so little opening and reading...so many emails left unread or simply forgotten.

The problem wasn’t the information. The problem was that the WORDS weren’t getting their attention.
